Proud to be Green

In the 11 years since I joined TimberTech it has been amazing to see the evolution of our products. Decking has developed into stunning low maintenance products that truly mimic wood’s beauty. Behind the scenes, another change that has been exciting to contribute to is our sustainability movement. In addition to using recycled materials in our products, we have been busy with some incredible environmental initiatives. I would like to share a few interesting examples.
► In the past two years TimberTech has reduced trash sent to landfills by over 90%.
► Every day TimberTech reclaims and reuses over 140,000 gallons of water, equivalent to the amount used by 2021 average households.
► Since 2009 TimberTech has reduced electrical consumption by enough to supply power to 164 households annually.
► Last year 332 tons of material was recycled, equivalent to the annual trash of 161 average families.
These are a few reasons I am proud to be part of the TimberTech Team, and some extra reasons to select a product that you can feel proud of too.
